Bookish Quotes Part 3

Hi guys, how are you all doing?  Today I thought I would share some more of my favourite bookish quotes. As the title suggests I have done two parts already, but there are some many great quotes I thought it was time for part 3. So lets get onto the quotes.
  • “Home is people. Not a place. If you go back there after the people are gone, then all you can see is what is not there any more.”  Robin Hobb, Fool’s Fate
  • “Read a lot of books and try a lot of recipes,” Jia said. “When you learn enough about the world, even a blade of grass can be a weapon.” Ken Liu, The Grace of Kings
  • “The best stories thrived when they contained a kernel of truth. One just needed to know how to prune the falsities and deceits to find the truth lying at their shared center.” Bradley P. Beaulieu, Twelve Kings in Sharakhai
  • “That is the problem with ignorance. You can never truly know the extent of what you are ignorant about.” Adrian Tchaikovsky, Children of Time
  • “People tend to complicate their own lives, as if living weren’t already complicated enough.” Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Shadow of the Wind
  • “Remember, the past need not become our future as well.” Brandon Sanderson, Elantris
  • “What a fool you must be,” said my head to my heart, or my sterner to my softer self.” Anne Brontë, Agnes Grey
  • “There was no normal. There never had been. “Normal”and”natural” were the biggest lies we’d ever created.” Samantha Shannon, The Bone Season
  • “Young people get the foolish idea that what is new for them must be new for everybody else too. No matter how unconventional they get, they’re just repeating what others before them have done.” Yukio Mishima, After the Banquet
  • “Wise people say it is folly to think anybody perfect; and as to likes and dislikes, we should be friendly to all, and worship none” Charlotte Brontë, Villette

As with the other posts, I am going to leave it at 10 quotes. Let me know if you guys have any favourite quotes – I am interested to see them. There are so many great quotes to share so I am sure there will be more posts like this one. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
