Top 5 Wednesday was originally created and run by Lainey aka gingerreadslainey (Youtube channel) but it is now being run by Sam aka Thoughts on tomes (Youtube channel). Each week there is a different topic. You can check out the groups Goodreads page here for any more information and the future topics. This week’s topic is books you’ve read because of blogging. I’ve been blogging for just over a year and a half now which is kind of crazy. Anyway these are books that I’ve read because they were recommended to me or because I saw them floating around the bookish community.
-
Kings of the Wyld / Nicholas Eames
-
Six of Crows / Leigh Bardugo
-
Daughter of the Forest / Juliet Marillier
-
Fudoki / Kij Johnson
-
The Bear and the Nightingale / Katharine Arden
That is all I have for today. There are definitely plenty of books that I see floating around the bookish community that I’m intrigued by, although I am always a bit wary of hype. What book have you read because of blogging? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

Six of Crows was on my list too!

I read 1 & 5 on your list because of reading book blogs. Also A Study in Brimstone, The Last Wish and Mormama.
I thought I read a book I found on your blog but didn’t find it (I have one or two on my tbr, though). Maybe Fudoki? I thought I found that in goodreads.

Well I definitely recommend checking out Fudoki if you haven’t already read it 🙂
