It is that time of the week for another Top Ten Tuesday. It is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish in June 2010. This weeks topic is books I’m looking forward to in 2018. The way I’m doing this topic is books I’m looking forward to reading in 2018, not anticipated books of 2018. Some of these books have been on my bookshelf for a while so it’s about time that I read them.
-
I am the Messenger / Markus Zusak
-
Shardik / Richard Adams
-
Night Without Stars / Peter F. Hamilton
-
Successor’s Promise / Trudi Canavan
-
Night Circus / Erin Morganstern
-
Birdcage Walk / Helen Dunmore
-
Heir to Sevenwaters / Juliet Maillier
-
The Ice / Laline Paull
-
The Blade Itself / Joe Abercrombie
-
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy / John le Carre
There are many more books on my TBR but these are 10 that I definitely hope to read soon. Some of my having been sitting on my bookshelf for a while now. What books do you want to read in 2018? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

I posted about books I’m going to read next year, too, and I hope that inspires me to read some good books I haven’t gotten around to reading yet. One of my books is the same as yours.

Oh my goodness please do read The Night Circus as soon as possible it’s just BEAUTIFUL! I like this idea of choosing books you want to read, not necessarily books that are released in 2018. Here is my list if you fancy taking a look – https://laurencarrollreadsandwrites.blogspot.co.uk/2017/12/books-from-2018-that-i-need-right-now.html

I am the Messenger is a great book. I went through a big Markus Zusak phase a few years ago and enjoyed his books. I have heard good things about The Night Circus but I haven’t gotten around to it. Hopefully its one you enjoy.

I definitely need to read The Night Circus in 2018. I was planning on reading it this year, but I was too distracted by new releases.
