TTT: Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early

TTT-Big2 (1)
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This weeks topic is books I’d slay a lion to get early. Let’s be honest though I wouldn’t actually slay a lion because I love animals but I would love to get my hands on these books. Some of these have released dates, others don’t. I am eagerly waiting for the release of all of these books. Let’s get started.

  1. Hyena and the Hawk / book 3 in the Echoes of the Fall series / Adrian Tchaikovsky
  2. The Winter of the Witch / book 3 in the Winternight trilogy / Katherine Arden
  3. Untitled / book 3 of the Dandelion Dynasty trilogy / Ken Liu
  4. Doors of Stone / book 3 of the Kingkiller Chonicles / Patrick Rothfuss
  5. The Thorn of Emberlain / book 4 of the Gentleman Bastards sequence / Scott Lynch
  6. The Mirror and the Light / book 3 in the Cromwell trilogy / Hilary Mantel
  7. The Priory of the Orange Tree / Samantha Shannon
  8. Nightblood / book 2 of the Warbreaker series / Brandon Sanderson
  9. The Secret Commonwealth / book 2 of the Book of Dust series / Philip Pullman
  10. Untitled / book 3 of the Winnowing Flame trilogy / Jen Williams
I cannot wait to read these books when they are released. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long for some of these books :). Do you guys have any books you really want to get your hands on? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

  1. I can’t wait for Doors of Stone to be announced, but I feel like it’ll be a while yet. *cries* I’ve purposefully been holding off on reading The Wise Man’s Fear until I know when the third book is coming out, so I hope they’ll announce it soon! Great post!
