It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

We’re roughly halfway through July now so I thought I’d update you guys on what I’m reading right now. So far I’ve managed to read 4 books which I’m pretty happy with. I’ve actually just started reading two books. Firstly I started The Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel, which is the first book in six book series Earth’s Children. Unless I’m mistaken, this is a historical fiction series set in a prehistoric Europe. I’m not very far in so I can’t comment on it yet but obviously I’ll have a mini review for you guys in my wrap at the end of the month. The second book I’m reading is The Hyena and the Hawk by Adrian Tchaikovsky, which is the third and final book in the Echoes of the Fall trilogy. I am so excited to see how this concludes. I’ve loved the first two books so I have high hopes for this book.

Before I finish this post, I thought I’d share some books on my TBR for the rest of the month. These include The Birdcage Walk by Helen Dunmore, City of Lies by Sam Hawke, Legend by David Gemmell, Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie, Circe by Madeleine Miller and Tempests and Slaughter by Tamora Pierce. Obviously I won’t get to all of these but I’m hoping to read at least a few of them.
