UK vs US Covers Again

Hi guys, I hope you are all well. It’s been a while since I’ve done a UK vs US cover so that’s what is happening today. Hopefully you guys like these types of post :). I’ve only got three to share today; all of which are 2018 releases. If you haven’t seen my other posts like this one, then basically I show the UK and US covers of books and pick a favourite. Now I’m assuming that the ones I use are US covers, since I live in the UK I can’t be 100% sure. The US covers are on the left, and the UK on the right. Let’s get started.

Consuming Fire / book 2 of the Interdependency / John Scalzi
Although I really like both of these covers, I slightly prefer the UK cover. I love the vivid blue and I prefer the font of the UK cover. I still think the US cover is great though.

City of Lies / book 1 of the Poison War series / Sam Hawke
This one goes to the US. I really like the simplicity of the white cover and something about the UK one just doesn’t quite work for me.

The Empire of Ashes / book 3 of the Draconis Memoria / Anthony Ryan
This one is actually a tie – I really like both covers and feel that they represent the trilogy well. I haven’t read this one yet as I’m waiting for the paperback to be released but I have high hopes for it.

I actually really like doing these posts, so I hope you guys like it too. Although I do have to go back to past posts to make sure to don’t repeat any covers :). There are so many fantastic covers out there, it’s nice to have posts about them too. What covers do you prefer? I’d love to know what you think. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
