Hi guys, I hope you are all well. As you can already tell from the title, today I am sharing my favourite bookish maps. Quite a few of the fantasy books I read include bookish maps and I love them, so I figured why not make a post about it? I’ve tried to find who did the map artwork for each but I couldn’t find that information for all of them. Let’s get straight into it.
Old Kingdom trilogy / Garth Nix / Old Kingdom and Ancelstierre
Pellinor series / Alison Croggon / Edil-Amarandh / Map artwork by Niroot Puttapipat
The Realm of the Elderlings / Robin Hobb / The Six Duchies / Map artwork by Nicolette Caven
The Dandelion Dynasty triolgy / Ken Liu / Islands of Dara / Map artwork by Robert Lazzaretti
Echoes of the Fall trilogy / Adrian Tchaikovsky / Unnamed world
Under Heaven / Guy Gavriel Kay / Kitai
The Faithful and the Fallen series / John Gwynne / the Banished Lands
Tale of Shikanoko / Lian Hearn / Unnamed world
That’s it for today. If you know who did the map artwork for any of the ones I missed, please let me know so I can credit them. Do you love bookish maps? I am always happy when I see one is included. I like referring back to it to see where things happen in the book. I hope you are all having wonderful day and I will see you next time.

I love a map in a book! It’s always a slight disappointment when a fantasy book doesn’t have one 😀

I love maps in books. My favorite maps are definitely from The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Winnie the Pooh, and Circe.
