Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of book, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This weeks topic is your auto-buy authors. If I’m being completely honest I don’t have auto-buy authors because I always do a bit of research on new releases to see if it’s something I’ll enjoy. I do have my favourite authors though and I am regularly check to see whether they have any new releases coming up. So it’s as close to an auto-buy author as I’ll get :). Let’s get started.

John Gywnne / 6 books read / Favourite: Faithful and the Fallen series
-
Brian McClellan / 6 books read / Favourite: Gods of Blood and Powder trilogy
-

Great list! I want to try Robin Hobb but I know she likes to kill off her characters and I can’t decide if I can’t handle the heartbreak LOL

That’s true but they are well worth a read. Just prepare yourself for an emotional rollercoaster.

I love Bradley Beaulieu! Several years ago, I read The Winds of Khalakovo and was hooked. He’s amazing when it comes to world building.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

Yeah, I mostly take the same approach to new books that you do.

I’m sad to say I’ve only heard of a couple of these authors and I haven’t read any of them. So many books, so little time …
Happy TTT!

Robin Hobb is absolutely on my list too! I might add Marillier to that as well, once I read more of her work (I’m very interested in The Harp of Kings, and I love the Sevenwaters books that I’ve read).

Yeah I should probably have added Marillier to this list too. π
