Hi guys, I hope you are all well. I figured it was about time that I did another UK vs. US book cover posts. I did one earlier in the year but I quite like putting these posts together so I thought I’d do another one. The US covers are on the left and the UK ones are on the right. Let’s get started.
Waste Tide / Chen Qiufan
I really like both of these covers but since the whole purpose of this post is to pick a favourite, I’m going with the US cover. This is a fantastic sci-fi book that was originally written in Chinese.
The Wolf’s Call / Anthony Ryan
This one goes to the US cover too. I’m just never a big fan of people on the cover… I can’t wait to read this book though.
A Brightness Long Ago / Guy Gavriel Kay
Once again, I love both of these covers, but my favourite is the UK one. I think it works better with the setting of the book. I haven’t read this one yet but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
That’s it for today. I wanted to do more than three but I couldn’t find many books released this year with differing covers. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place :). Have you guys read any of these books? I’d love to know what you thought. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

A lot of times I end up loving the UK covers a lot more than the US covers. For instance, Becky Chambers — I LOVE the UK covers so much better. Also for Sanderson’s Mistborn. Great post!

Yes the UK mistborn covers are so much better. I don’t think I’ve seen the US cover of Chambers books though – the UK covers are great though.

The US covers for the Wayfarer’s books have a very retro sci-fi feel to them. I’m not a huge fan of those particular covers, lol.
