Hi guys, I hope you are all well. The other week I posted about my fantasy TBR and since I want to read more science fiction, I thought I’d share a TBR for it too. I have 16 books to share with you guys today – I don’t own all of these but I want to check them all out at some point. Let’s get started.
- Planetside / Michael Mammay
- Salvation / Peter F. Hamilton
- Ancillary Justice / Ann Leckie
- Foundation / Isaac Asimov
- A Closed and Common Orbit / Becky Chambers
- The Wind-up Girl / Paolo Bacigalupi
- Six Wakes / Mur Lafferty
- Rosewater / Tade Thompson
- Iron Gold / Pierce Brown
- Solaris / Stanislaw Lem
- All You Need Is Kill / Hiroshi Sakurazaka
- The Man in the High Castle / Philip K. Dick
- The Word for World is Forest / Ursula K. Le Guin
- Cage of Souls / Adrian Tchaikovsky
- The Last Emperox / John Scalzi / 2020
- A Desolation Called Peace / Arkady Martine / 2020
That’s it for today. I haven’t read a whole lot of sci-fi, so hopefully this will motivate me to read more. Have you guys read any of these? I’d love to know what you thought and if you have any recommendations for me. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
Pippa
So many books on here I also still need to read! I hope you enjoy them all when you get to them!

Great list here!
I’ll admit I’ve been looking for something new lately, as a long time
sci-fi fan it seems like I keep re-reading the same story-lines by
different authors. Fortunately I saw a recommendation for “Two Skies Before Night”,
which claimed to merge a crime/murder/thriller storyline with more
classic science fiction concepts and I was ready to give it a shot and
glad I did. The author, Robert Gryn, has a strong science fiction background, so he’s
not new on the scene, just ballsy enough to try something different and I
appreciate it a lot. I definitely recommend. Here is his website (this book should definitely make a future list!) –
