Hi guys, I hope you are all well. It’s the end of the month, which means it’s time for my second monthly wrap of 2020. I read three books this month and I’m part way through a fourth. I had a great reading month in February – two four star books and one five star. Anyway let’s get started with the mini reviews.

Viper’s Daughter / Michelle Paver / ★★★★
Series: Chronicles of Ancient Darkness – book 7
Publisher: Zephyr
Length: 256 pages
*I received a digital copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*
I thought that this was a six book series, so I was excited to see that a new instalment was coming out. This is one of my favourite series from when I was younger and it was so good to be back in this world. If you enjoyed the previous books, then I think you will enjoy this instalment too. I will have a full review up soon.

The Goblin Emperor / Katherine Addison
The Goblin Emperor series – book 1
Publisher: Solaris
Length: 480 pages
This was a fantastic coming of age fantasy book about a young goblin emperor. From the very beginning I was invested in the characters and story, and I found it so easy to settle into the flow of the writing. The characters are wonderfully written and I loved their development through the book. If you are looking for a slower paced, character driven fantasy with plenty of politics and intrigue, then I highly recommend this book. I will have a full review up of this one soon.

A Time of Courage / John Gwynne / ★★★★★
Of Blood and Bone trilogy – book 3
Publisher: Pan Macmillan
Length: 672 pages
*I received a digital copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*
This was a fantastic conclusion to this trilogy. It is probably my most anticipated book release of the year and I’m happy to say to didn’t disappoint. I will have a full review up a little closer to the release date. Just know that I loved this and I highly recommend checking out this trilogy.
That’s it for today. I’m currently part way through Diamantine by Andrew Rowe, which is the second book in the Weapons and Wielders series. I’m hoping to get more reading done in March, although I think The Mirror and the Light by Hilary Mantel may take up a lot of my reading time. Did you have a good reading month? Let’s chat in the comments. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
Pippa
Looks like a good month! Hopefully March is just as good!
