Hi guys, I hope you are all well. As you can already tell from the title, today I’m sharing the books I’ve picked up over the last few months. I think I’ve been pretty restrained so far this year in terms of buying new books, but I have acquired a few recently. Let’s get started.

Age of Death / Michael J. Sullivan
Legends of the First Empire – book 5
Length / 432 pages
Publication date / Feb 2020
Publisher / Grim Oak Press
I can’t wait to continue this series.

The Goblin Emperor / Katherine Addison
Length / 480 pages
Publication date / April 2014
Publisher / Solaris
I already have this on my Kindle but I loved it so much I wanted a physical copy.

The Mirror and the Light / Hilary Mantel
The Cromwell trilogy
Length / 904 pages
Publication date / March 2020
Publisher / 4th Estate
I can’t wait to see how Mantel concludes this trilogy, although I’m waiting for the right mind frame to read it.

Senlin Ascends / Josiah Bancroft
The Books of Babel series – book 1
Length / 389 pages
Publication date / January 2013
Publisher / Orbit
I’ve heard a lot of great things about this series so I can’t wait to try it out.

The Fork, the Witch and the Worm / Christopher Paolini
Tales of Alagaesia – short story collection
Length / 266 pages
Publication date / December 2018
Publisher / Penguin
I love the original Eragon series so I can’t wait to read short stories set in the same world.
That’s it for today. These are the books that I’ve picked up over the last few months – some of them I picked up myself when I was feeling a little down and the others I got for my birthday. Have you guys got any new books recently? Let’s chat in the comments. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

My only recent new books have been on my Kindle, so I can’t do a nice book haul photo, really. 😂 Even before the charity shops got closed I’d been trying to be mindful of how many books I bought because I bought so many last year that I *still* haven’t read. 🙈
