Ongoing series I’m loving

Hi guys, I hope you are all well. Today I’m sharing the series that I’m currently in the middle of and loving – these series are all currently unfinished. I’ve really enjoyed all of the books in each of these series so I thought I’d love the love today. Let’s get started.

A Tale of Stars & Shadow series / Lisa Cassidy

The series currently consists of A Tale of Stars & Shadow, A Prince of Song & Shade and A King of Masks & Magic

Publisher / Tate House

I recently started this series and I ended up reading the first three books in quick succession, which is a good indication of my enjoyment level. I can’t wait to read the fourth book.

The Coraidic series / Alicia Wanstall-Burke

The Coraidic trilogy currently consists of Blood of Heirs and Legacy of Ghost. The third book, Empire of Shadows, doesn’t have a release date right now.

Publisher / Alicia Wanstall-Burke (self-published)

The first two books of this trilogy are both fantastic and I cannot wait to get my hands on the third book.

The Mirror Visitor series / Christelle Dabos

This series currently consists of A Winter’s Promise and the Missing of Clairdelune. The third and fourth book is yet to be released in English.

Publisher / Europa editions

Originally written in French, (translated by Hildegarde Serle) this is a great series with amazing cover art. I’ve read the first two books and can’t wait for the translation of the next two books.

The Ascension Cycle / David Mealing

The series currently consists of Soul of the World and Blood of the Gods.

I really enjoyed the first two books of this series and I can’t wait to read the third book, although there is no release date or title yet.

The Dandelion Dynasty trilogy / Ken Liu

This trilogy currently consists of The Grace of Kings and The Wall of Storms. The third book, The Veiled Throne, may be released early next year.

Publisher / Head of Zeus

This is a fantastic trilogy set around Ancient China. While the first book is quite dense, both of the first two books are fantastic.

Honourable mentions – completed series that I haven’t finished yet: Cromwell trilogy by Hilary Mantel, the Licanius trilogy by James Islington and the Lady Trent series by Marie Brennan.

That’s it for today. All of these series are fantastic and I definitely recommend checking them out. What series are you guys in the middle of right now? Any recommendations for me? Let’s chat in the comments. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

  1. I’m in the middle of so many series!! It’s because I’m really bad at finishing them unless I get addicted… There are so many that I thoroughly enjoyed, but I didn’t feel the need to continue the series yet 😂
