Hi guys, I hope you are all well. It’s the end of the month which means its time for another monthly wrap up. I feel like I didn’t read all that much in May but I still managed to read 3 books, all of which I really enjoyed. Let’s get started.

Age of Death / Michael J. Sullivan / ★★★★
Series / Legends of the First Empire – book 5
Publisher / Grim Oak Press
Length / 432 pages
This is the penultimate book in the series and it was a fantastic continuation from the fourth book. It was great to be back with these characters and I loved that we got to see more of this world. If you enjoyed the previous books in this series, then I think you’ll enjoy this one too. Full review.

The Light of All That Falls / James Islington / ★★★★
The Licanius trilogy – book 3
Publisher / Orbit
Length / 864 pages
It had been a while since I read the last book, so I loved that the author provided a recap of events. It meant that I could slip pretty easily back into the story. I thought this was a fantastic concluding instalment and am pretty impressed that this is the author’s debut trilogy. My 5 reasons to read start this trilogy review.

The Thousand Deaths of Ardor Been / Tyler Whitesides / ★★★★
Kingdom of Grit – book 1
Publisher / Orbit
Length / 784 pages
I’ve had this on my TBR for a while now so I’m glad I’ve finally picked it up. I really enjoyed this one. I’m going to be posting a full review of this one so I’m not going to say much about this one yet. Just now that I enjoyed it and would definitely recommend checking it out.
That’s it for today. To be honest, I surprised I managed to read three books this month since I spent quite a lot playing video games in May. What books have you guys been loving recently? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
