Hi guys, I hope you are all well. You guys know that I love a good book cover, so I thought I’d start a series where a highlight the amazing covers of some of my favourite books. I took inspiration from the bookish meme Cover Wars Wednesday, created by Book is Glee. Basically I’m going to be showcasing different editions, not only English ones but covers from all over the world. To start this series off, I’m going to talk about Northern Lights by Philip Pullman, the first book in His Dark Materials trilogy.
There are so many amazing editions of the books from His Dark Materials trilogy. I’ve picked some of my favourites from the editions in English. I only own one edition of this trilogy, but since it’s one of my favourite series I can see myself adding more editions to my collection. I own the Everyman’s Library bind-up edition and it is so pretty (one on the far right).
Non English covers: Please let me know if I’ve got any of these languages wrong, since I don’t speak any of these languages. I think the German and Spanish editions are my favourite out of these ones.

The non-English covers always seem so much more beautiful to me and I always wish the books I have could have those covers. I haven’t read this trilogy, but these covers are so adorable!

Yess I’ve seen so many covers for this series! I have two different covers for The Northern Lights, and then my Subtle Knife cover is also a different style 😂
