*I received a digital e-ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review*
This is the fourth and final book in the Tale of Stars and Shadow series by Australian author, Lisa Cassidy. It resumes soon after the events of the third book, A King of Masks and Magic, and continues to follow Talyn and Cuinn as the main character perspective. This is going to be s short review since I want to avoid any spoilers.
After loving the first three books in this series, I had high hopes for this concluding instalment and I’m happy to say it didn’t disappoint. It was great to be back in this world and with these characters. I loved the direction of the plot and once I started reading I didn’t want to put this book down. Cassidy continues to develop the characters well. It’s interesting to see how they have all changed over the course of the four books. The two main characters are so well written and there are just so many amazing characters withing this series. The world continues to be an interesting one and I really enjoyed seeing more of it in this instalment. This is a great concluding instalment, which manages to tie up the loose ends without it seeming too neat or clean. Basically I really enjoyed this book and the series as a whole.
Overall this was a fantastic final instalment and I would highly recommend checking this series out. Have you guys started this series yet? I’d love to know what you thought. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
