Waiting on Wednesday…

Hi guys, I hope you are all well. It’s become a bit of a thing for me to do one of these posts at the start of the month to showcase some exciting book releases. It’s not really a thing but I’ve done it for the last couple of months and thought it was a good way to share what releases I’m looking forward. So I’m going to be sharing some July book releases. No surprises that all of the books mentioned are fantasy books :). Let’s get started.
That’s all for today. I haven’t been great at reading new releases so far this year but hopefully I’ll get to all of these releases this year. Are you excited for any book releases in July? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

Waiting on Wednesday…

Hi guys, I hope you are all well. It’s the start of May and there are quite a few book releases coming out this month that I want to share. There are 4 books in particular that I have my eye on. I don’t really have anything else to say so I’m just going to get straight into it.

I think I’m most excited for Wrath of Empire – the cover is also amazing. Are there any releases you’re excited for in May? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

TTT: Books I’d Slay a Lion to Get Early

TTT-Big2 (1)
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This weeks topic is books I’d slay a lion to get early. Let’s be honest though I wouldn’t actually slay a lion because I love animals but I would love to get my hands on these books. Some of these have released dates, others don’t. I am eagerly waiting for the release of all of these books. Let’s get started.

  1. Hyena and the Hawk / book 3 in the Echoes of the Fall series / Adrian Tchaikovsky
  2. The Winter of the Witch / book 3 in the Winternight trilogy / Katherine Arden
  3. Untitled / book 3 of the Dandelion Dynasty trilogy / Ken Liu
  4. Doors of Stone / book 3 of the Kingkiller Chonicles / Patrick Rothfuss
  5. The Thorn of Emberlain / book 4 of the Gentleman Bastards sequence / Scott Lynch
  6. The Mirror and the Light / book 3 in the Cromwell trilogy / Hilary Mantel
  7. The Priory of the Orange Tree / Samantha Shannon
  8. Nightblood / book 2 of the Warbreaker series / Brandon Sanderson
  9. The Secret Commonwealth / book 2 of the Book of Dust series / Philip Pullman
  10. Untitled / book 3 of the Winnowing Flame trilogy / Jen Williams
I cannot wait to read these books when they are released. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long for some of these books :). Do you guys have any books you really want to get your hands on? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

Waiting on Wednesday…

Hi guys, I hope you are all well. Today I thought I would share some books that are coming out this month. There are 3 books that I am excited for that come out in the month of April, so I wanted to share them with you guys. I have to admit that I sometimes fall behind on new releases – I get excited for there release and then when the books out I end up not reading it for a while. Other times I read them straight away. Anyway let’s get started.

These are three books that I am definitely planning on checking out. I may have missed some releases but these are the ones I am aware of. Are there any releases you’re excited for this month? The new Avengers film comes out this month too, which I’m excited for. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

Waiting on Wednesday…

Hi guys, I hope you are all well. It’s time to share some exciting book releases coming out in March. Now I’ve probably missed some, but I have four books that I am definitely interested in checking out. One of these books I have already read and loved but I wanted to share it with out guys anyway. Now these are the release dates for the UK, so I don’t know releases dates for other countries. Let’s get started.

I’m looking forward to checking all these books out, and continuing on with the Song of the Shattered Sea series. Are there any releases you’re waiting for in March? There are two movies I want to see that come out in March too – Tomb Raider and Ready Player One. I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.

Anticipated Films 2018

Hi guys I hope you are all well. Today I’m going to be talking about films rather than books, because there are quite a few film releases that I am looking forward to, so I thought I’d share some. So far there are 11 films that I am interested to see that are coming out this year. I might have missed some but these are the ones that I am aware of. I have linked to the trailer of each film (if available) for you guys to check out if you want to. Let’s get started.

I actually don’t go to the cinema that often so I probably won’t get to see these films until they are out on DVD but I’m interested in checking them out at some point. I have high hopes for quite a few of them. The ones I’m most interested in are Avengers, Annihilation and Tomb Raider. What films are you looking forward to? I hope you are all having a wonderful day and I will see you next time.
